    People who do not consume sufficient amounts of fermented foods or plant-based fibers may endanger their digestive tracts’ health. Consuming a lot of highly processed foods, which are often low in fiber and abundant in carbohydrates, salt, chemical additives, and preservatives, can harm the diversity of the microbiome found in the gut and lead to a variety of health problems, including both physical and mental conditions. High-processed foods include packaged munchies, white bread, frozen entrees, chicken nuggets, and sweetened cereals.

    Do Probiotic Supplements Offer Any Benefits?

    Some gastrointestinal health issues, such as irritable bowel syndrome and diarrhea, may benefit from taking probiotic supplements. These supplements may be helpful. However, not all strains have a positive effect. Before beginning to use supplements, it is important to speak with your primary care physician.
