It is usually said that dreaming of snakes in the house is a reference of betrayal. As per my experience interpreting dreams during the last 5 years, I can tell you this is true in many cases, since the dreamer is having some distrust due to the recent behavior of her family members or dear ones.
Indeed, dreaming of snakesin the house shows that some individuals in our family are not what we think they are, in other words, they are giving us a version of themselves – a social appearance- that is very contrary to what they really are, because they could be harboring hidden intentions towards us. The existence of this falsehood in our family relationships may be leading us to have tensions, differences which may escalate to open conflicts and arguments overtime.
Moreover, this dream could serve to warn us that there is someone very close to us who may be betraying our trust or disappoint our expectations over them.
Having a dream of snakes at home means that someone is invading your personal space in real life. That’s correct, it is possible that an individual is perturbing your mind, a guy or gal who is intruding or disrupting your personal matters. If you have this dream it is possible that you believe that an individual is crossing the personal or social constrains accepted for people in your social environment.
Likewise, seeing snakes at your house or your apartment is a very common dream, it reveals that the dreamer has serious difficulties in her romantic relationship. This dream is like a warning signal for her to take action in regard to urgent issues with her partner or husband. The size of the reptile may be a hint of the magnitude of the troubles or menaces in (or towards) her relationship, for example, if she dreamsof a large snake like a mamba or a boa at home it could represent her big fears about her relationship to be in serious trouble, perhaps she is feeling emotionally suffocated, constrained or worn out due to that.
A snake in the bedroom could be revealing the dreamer’s perception about the present of immediate future of her relationship, that is, she believes the relation with her partner is exhausting or consuming her completely. Perhaps, because of the troubles with her boyfriend or husband, she is carrying an overwhelming responsibility taking up all her time and attention.
Moreover, I have noticed that among young and middle-aged women a snake in the bedroom usually reveals serious problems, worries or fears in their relationship, such as: fear of infidelity, fear that the partner will leave or mistreat them. Sometimes, periods on which her partner is not having time with her could trigger this dream.Pay attention to this interpretation if recently your partner has been pretty busy with his job, business, or maybe he has been spending more time with his family members, coworkers or friends instead of you (or your children).
If you dream of a snake in your home, I would recommend you take a minute to consider what might be causing fears or concerns in different aspects of your life. Indeed, there’s must be something you’re really worried about, and should try to talk about it with someone you trust. Sometimes the simple act of expressing what we are feeling can help us feel better and better channel our frustration and anger.
